Leadership

Rick Ramsbottom

Co-Founder

Over the past 20 years, Rick has worked in professional sports with the Vancouver Canucks and Vancouver Whitecaps, as well as on major nation-building initiatives including the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Most recently, Rick was the Vice President, Sponsorship Sales and Service for the highly successful Toronto 2015 Pan and Parapan American Games. In this role, he was responsible for corporate partnerships, and was the leader for the record-setting sponsorship program that delivered $135M in revenue – over three times any previous Pan American Games.

Rick has a proven track record of developing unique, creative and authentic partnerships that drive lasting value.

A strong believer in community, Rick volunteers his time to coach soccer in his home of Port Moody. He is also a member of the Board of Directors with viaSport, and is a long-time supporter of KidSport.

Garnet Nelson

Co-Founder

Garnet is an entrepreneurial sponsorship marketing professional with a passion for creating win-win partnerships between brands and properties.  

With 20+ years of direct sponsorship sales and marketing experience, Garnet has been responsible for a number of award-winning, high-profile partnerships, ranging from large-scale title partnerships and naming rights positions to critical supplier deals.  

Garnet’s strategic approach has enabled him to build successful partnerships with some of Canada’s most respected brands including Shaw, Ford, Honda, Chevrolet, Kia, Labatt, Pepsi, Starbucks, Diageo, Bell, Canada Post, McDonald’s, and Cisco, among numerous others.

An avid sports fan and community contributor, Garnet enjoys spending time coaching minor hockey and Little League baseball in Burnaby.
