The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences/L’académie canadienne des arts et des sciences de l’enregistrement (CARAS) was formed in 1975 as an umbrella not-for-profit organization. It oversees The JUNO Awards, the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, and MusiCounts – Canada’s music education program.
Hosted annually, The JUNO Awards are widely regarded as Canada’s number one music event with an average aggregate reach in excess of 15M people. The 2024 JUNO Awards will be held on March 24 at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, NS.
