UNITE Partnerships has been working closely with Vancouver Bike Share Inc. (VBS) since the system’s inception in 2016. Our team was part of the inaugural launch with the City of Vancouver, and we are extremely proud to have led the game-changing Title Partnership with Shaw Communications (now transitioned to Rogers). What a ride it has been!
Fast forward to 2024. Vancouver Bike Share is stronger than ever, and has a lot to cheer about:
- 1 million rides in a single calendar year (2023) for total of 5.6M rides
- Nearly 17 Million kilometers ridden; that’s the equivalent of cycling the circumference of the Earth 422 times!
- Expansion to UBC, with 5 new stations and 100+ electric assist bikes
- 65,000+ active members
- See more exciting milestones in Mobi by Rogers annual report available here
And now, we’re happy to announce the launch of a new sponsorship program to enable corporate partners to get involved with VBS E-Bikes.The addition of 600+ electric assist bikes (aka. E-bikes) to the fleet of 2,000 classic bikes has been an overwhelmingly positive move for VBS and members alike. [Fast fact: E-bikes account for 30% more trips than classic bikes].
New Mobi by Rogers partnership options can now include brand takeover / sponsor recognition on the E-bikes!!! These “moving billboards” provide savvy brands with significant presence throughout key high traffic corridors in Vancouver, resulting in a large volume of impressions and direct customer engagement potential. Brand recognition at E-Stations (think high-demand large format OOH signage) is also now available too.
To allow companies with smaller-scale budgets to demonstrate their support for Vancouver Bike Share, entry level Mobi by Rogers Community Sponsorship Packages have been curated as well.
“Mobi by Rogers sponsorship provides an ideal combination of marketing plus meaningful social impact. In addition to showcasing commitment to the planet and our well-being, brand partners benefit from significant presence in a priority market which can otherwise be challenging to penetrate.” Garnet Nelson, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, UNITE Partnerships.”
Partnership with Vancouver Bike Share goes well beyond bikes. It’s a truly meaningful and relevant way for your company to demonstrate its support for environmental sustainability, climate emergency action, and to promote health and wellness, and ‘liveability’ in Vancouver.
Let’s roll. For more information about how to get involved as a sponsor or to book your spot, please reach out to us at hello@unitepartnerships.com
