UNITE Partnerships Inc., a longtime sponsorship marketing authority in Canada, is excited to announce its expansion into the United States by welcoming San Francisco’s most iconic running event – Bay to Breakers – to its roster of high-profile clients.
Bay to Breakers Highlights:
- Born in the wake of the devastating 1906 earthquake, Bay to Breakers was designed to unite San Francisco and boost morale. Since the inaugural edition, Bay to Breakers has never taken a year off, making it one of the longest consecutively run annual foot races in the world!
- In 1986, Bay to Breakers won the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest footrace in the world, with more than 110,000 participants
- 200,000+ spectators along the 12 kilometer race route
“We love working with events and partners to make communities stronger, more vibrant, and more engaged. Bay to Breakers has been crushing it for over 100 years, and is a fun annual celebration for tens of thousands of people in California and the Bay area” says UNITE Co-Founder Garnet Nelson. “We’re excited to bring our strategic focus and sponsorship marketing expertise to this historic community event, and look forward to expanding our offering into the US.” Nelson adds “UNITE also has specific experience in running, having been a key part of Canada’s largest 10K (Vancouver Sun Run) for more than a decade”.
UNITE’s team will grow and continue to work seamlessly with its current property-side clients north of the border, including Curling Canada, the PNE, The JUNO Awards, Vancouver Sun Run, Vancouver Bike Share, and Vancouver International Jazz Festival, among others.
This client and expansion news comes hot on the heels of two recent UNITE partnership announcements:
