Lacrosse Canada

Lacrosse is Canada’s national summer sport. Often referred to as the Creator’s Game, lacrosse is very much part of the culture of Indigenous peoples. Lacrosse Canada is the national governing body for the sport, and is responsible for the men’s and women’s field and box lacrosse teams that represent Canada on the international stage.  They are also the governing body for two of the most famous national sporting championships in Canada – the Mann Cup, and the Minto Cup.

Recognizing the continued growth in the sport at both an amateur and professional level, the International Olympic Committee announced that lacrosse will be returning to the Olympic Games, competing at the LA 2028 Olympics.

Our Role
