Welcome to Canada’s largest starting line! The Vancouver Sun Run Presented by Herbaland Naturals is the largest running race in the Canada. Founded in 1985, the Sun Run has become a rite of passage for active Vancourites of all ages and abilities. In 2026, the event welcomed over 57,000 participants and raised over $100,000 for local charities.
The event takes place annually in April, flooding the streets with a sea of runners, walkers and wheelchair athletes. Along the picturesque race route, which passes through 8 different Vancouver neighbourhoods, you can expect to find live entertainment stages and thousands of cheering fans, culminating with a massive celebration at BC Place Stadium.
We’ve been actively involved with the Sun Run since 2014 – responsible for long-term development of the event’s sponsorship program including Presenting Partnerships and multiple other sponsorship positions.
